We are Ann & Andy Parker, our 14 year old daughter, Rebecca, golden retriever Amber and cat Mogwi.



Amber is just out of shot in the photo of Andy collecting agates - waiting in vain for him to throw one! She loves getting stones out of the water but we haven't managed to teach her to be selective yet. Ann is in our home from home when collecting - our VW camper. OK I have finally replaced Becky's picture with a more up to date one

Home is in Ulverston, Cumbria, England where we have lived for nearly 6 years but already feel completely at home.

We are camping out in a virtual barn whilst converting it for use as a lapidary workshop and shop with living space above. The building is at least 300 years old and has been a printworks, paint warehouse and part of a brewery during the last 100 years - heaven knows before that! Apart from the size and location - on a cobbled alley right in the heart of town the deciding factor on
buying this property was the feeling - it has never been lived in before as far as we know but it feels a happy building - can't explain it, just feel it.
